Sue constantly belittles and bullies everyone around her, including your son and Blaine, calling them names (Hobbit McGay, Porcelain, Lady-face ect.). What would be the point that you actually did something about it? Knowing psychological pain is almost as bad as physical. (She really screwed with Blaine's feelings yesterday, for example.)

My dad wasn't a huge part of my life until I was 16. My mom was mainly theone who took care of me. My dad and I had a falling out when I was in my Senior year of high school. I'll be 20 soon, and my dad doesn't know when to quit trying to rebuild a bridge that was burned a long time ago. Any fatherly advice as to how to deal with this situation?

Hey there kid. When things aren’t going well in a relationship, ask yourself if you’re really listening to each other. But not just hearing someone but listening… hearing has to do with noise, listening has to do with understanding. You can hear without listening. So, try to speak and listen too each other.
